Yesterday was very tiring for some reason, so I lagged on my blog. Like always right? I'm tired today also and too much happened yesterday to even think about right now, so I'll come back and blog about it once I have time.
- Today
12 hours of sleep and an extra 2 hours naptime didn't do me any good. School has been so draining that all I want to do nowadays is catch up on some rest. Didn't do much today besides go to Tofu House, which was really close to my house. I wonder why I live near so many restaurants but have never eaten at any of them before. Tofu House was better than I expected, but I still wasn't a big fan. I'm too used to my dad's Korean Bbq and our Vietnamese style of overly sweet or salty food. It was pretty good still, but we went to Wendy's to get a Coffee Toffee Twisted Frosty. Say that one five times quickly. My new favorite treat, yummy!
- Yesterday
Too many things happened in one day to actually talk about in multiple sentences, so here goes one of the best days of my life in a nutshell, or in other words, one very, very long sentence. Went to 2nd period to take my Spanish final, surprisingly got a 91 out of 100, went to say goodbye to Mrs. Bagley, stopped by Mr. Chau's room to wait while his students finished their final, hurried out to Amy's car and chilled in the backseat while Amy drove to L.A., yelled at Mimi to knock on wood when she said "Bet we won't make it past five minutes with Amy driving," saw my life flash before my eyes when Amy proved Mimi wrong and almost killed us two minutes after we got on the freeway, accidentally said the F word in front of Mr. Chau when a white girl randomly flipped us off, screamed when we finally got to our destination and saw a bunch of people heading towards the parade, laughed my ass off when Mr. Chau ran around the car to replace Amy as the driver and said "To other people, it looks like three Asian girls just got carjacked," yelled at Mimi again when she said the word "cholos" really loudly even though the windows were down and there were in fact a bunch of cholos in the cars around us, got called an idiot for asking a little Mexican guy rather than an old white man where the Coliseum was and received in response "It's straight ahead; you should come with us," thought a second later that the Mexican dude actually had some pretty good game and would've scored my number if he hadn't been greasy and wasn't wearing red skinny jeans, walked for the longest time from where we parked to where the parade was, constantly complained about the overwhelmingly bad smell coming from the residential streets, wondered how it was possible that USC was even in the same area, got hit on by a bunch of Mexican guys and immediately regretted wearing a dress around such a place, finally got to the parade and saw more Lakers jerseys there than at an actual Lakers game, also got to the parade and saw more Mexicans there than at Rancho and the Block combined, took pictures and drank a Big Gulp that Mr. Chau bought for us while waiting for the parade to start, saw a fat black man across the street wearing a shirt that read "I'm The Sexiest Fat Nigga On Earth," jumped up on the ramp and leaned over to get a better view of the double-deck buses, was informed by Mr. Chau that an old man had been trying to take pictures under my dress as I was leaning over, smirked because his picture would've been of a girl who was on her period and was wearing a maxi pad, felt disgusted and violated nonetheless, was thankful that Mr. Chau was nice enough to stand behind me so that the pervert wouldn't be able to take those pictures, almost fainted when the first double-deck bus carrying the Lakers players came in sight, spotted Derek Fisher first and blew him a kiss, realized that he hadn't seen it but his wife had, saw Pau Gasol next and thought he looked fine as hell in a cap, screamed at the top of my lungs and yelled out the names of all the recognizable players, saw Luke Walton and super cute Shannon Brown and Jordan Farmar and Lamar Odom and Josh Powell and Sasha Vujacic and Sun Yue and Andrew Bynum, was so distracted by L.A. Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa that Kobe Bryant, who was standing right next to him, almost passed by without us noticing, finally spotted Kobe as he was letting out a "Whooooo!" to the crowd and almost died of happiness, lost our minds and started running in an attempt to catch up with the buses, weaved around thousands of people for about a couple blocks before deciding that there was no way we could catch up to the bus that Kobe was on, began the long and sweaty walk back to the car, stood for a while on the freeway overpass because the Laker fans in the cars below were honking like crazy when they saw us fans walking above them, was a tad disappointed not to have seen my second boyfriend Trevor Ariza, was stuck in major traffic on the way back, dropped off Mr. Chau and then got dropped off by Amy, ate macaroni and cheese and freshened up, saw the three of us for a split second on an ABC live coverage video of the parade that was posted on the internet, got picked up by Amy to go to Rancho's graduation at Bolsa Grande High School, almost died of a heat stroke and later of boredom, got sunburned to the point that there was a visible eyebrow tan on my face by the end of the night, and finally went home after a long two hours to immediately knock out on my bed.
