Haircut, Finally

- Yesterday
Woke up at 9:30 and got ready in record time so that I could go eat with my parents. We then made a quick stop at Asian Mall so I could get coffee, then we headed to Fashion Island. We couldn't find the freeway at first when we were going back to Garden Grove, but that was okay because the view along Pacific Coast Highway was so damn pretty. Add going to Corona Del Mar/Laguna Beach on my to-do list after AP testing is over. I'm going to live in Newport one day. Hopefully there won't be a tsunami for another 100 years.

- Today
Got a haircut today. My mom has a really, really bad habit of never listening to what I want and just doing what she wants instead. She always cuts it so short. I feel so self-conscious without long hair. Even though it looks pretty good with my face, I wanted long hair for prom so that I could curl it. But anyways, speaking of prom, part of me doesn't wanna go since it's such a hassle to get everything together. Then again, I have a cute date and all the Rancho girls are going, so the loads of fun we're going to have should be worth the trouble. Kay, time to go post things on Craigslist. Let's hope people are still into flare Seven jeans.

Obsessed

- Last night
Decided not to go to Sadie's and went to get some delicious Thai food instead. Shopped at the Forever 21 in Anaheim Plaza afterwards and left a very happy girl.

- Today
Took the final diagnostic SAT test this morning. There's nothing more exhausting than sitting in a chair for four hours and bubbling answer after answer. Going out with Mike afterwards made waking up at 6:30 worth it though. It was so damn cold outside, so we went to BJ's, got the usual chicken alfredo + thin-cut fries + strawberry lemonade, and rushed to Bella Terra to make the 3:50 showing of Obsessed. I loved that movie; it was so intense. Beyonce's husband in the movie is the epitome of the perfect guy that I would actually want to marry in the future. The obsessed girl was so crazy and easy to hate that the audience around us kept clapping when Beyonce was beating her ass. Damn, Beyonce is a hottie by the way. Afterwards, we made a quick stop at West Mall because I needed eyeliner. As Mike and I were walking, I noticed that there were three Asian guys standing outside, and even though I couldn't see them clearly, I had a feeling that I either knew them or they knew me since they looked at me when I walked past. I saw two girls walking into the mall, and when I walked through the doors, they turned around and walked out. They were none other than my very best friends, Man-Shoulders Tammy and Zombie-Eyes Amy. It pissed me off so much that the only time I ever see them is when I'm with Mike. If those bitches hadn't been with three guys and had only been with one or two, I would have went up to them. But I was sure that since an overwhelming majority of Asian guys in Orange County are pussies, they would play dirty and jump Mike if I started a fight. Before I could even make up my mind on whether to turn around and go after them though, they were already gone. So we got the eyeliner, chilled for a bit, had somewhat of a little "serious talk," and then he dropped me off. Since I've been writing negative things about him in the last two blogs, I'll write something nice about him in this one. I. Really. Really. Like. Him. I think those five words sum it all up.

Lakers schooled the Jazz 108-94 today. I knew you could do it Kobe.
I must admit, Boozer's tiny patch of armpit hair is pretty damn cute.

Before I Die To-Do List

Before I die, I want to date a virgin. In my five years of dating, I've never been with a virgin before. Unbelieveable, right? Well... not really, considering that I date older guys who have had more time on this earth to get around anyways. I guess the experienced ones are better when you're just looking for a short-term relationship; after all, they're much more suave and confident. Yet when it comes down to someone who you might potentially have a real relationship with, plenty of experience ultimately leads to plenty of jealousy. It makes me question, "Why me?" Why me, when you've had countless girls all on your dick. Why me, when any of those girls could have become more than a one-night stand to you. Why me, when you could have continued with your lifestyle and live it up with your friends. Is it because you met a good girl who made you decide to change? Or is it because you changed and decided to get with a good girl? When I asked you "If you met me back then, would you have liked me the way you do now?" and you answered "No, I probably wouldn't have talked to you and just try to hit it and quit it," I started to wonder if you actually like me for me. Because if you did, you would have changed at whatever point it is that you meet me, even if it was back then, regardless of the fact that you made a commitment to your friends and to a player lifestyle in 2008. I envy people who are dating virgins. Amy, for example, doesn't have to deal with Steven's past. She's going to be Steven's entire answer if a girlfriend in the future were to ask him about his past girls. I, on the other hand, am always only part of a guy's answer because I'm always one of 4,000,000 past girls. So before I die, I want to know how it feels to date someone inexperienced. That way, it's almost a 100% guarantee that I will be jealousy-free. Better yet, I want to know how it feels to date a virgin. But since we're the corrupt younger generation of the new millenium, finding a cute virgin nowdays is Mission Impossible IIII. I'll have to make my goal more reasonable; before I die, I want to know how it feels to date a guy who hasn't had sex with 10+ girls.

By the way, Lakers lost Game 3 today, 106-108.

A Deprived Ego

I like to say that I know exactly what I am and what I'm not. One thing I am, even though I'm not proud of it, is shallow. What is it that keeps me from dating guys who think the world of me? I love having my ego fed, so why is it that I'm seeing someone who isn't willing to hold that spoon for me? Simple answer: the guys unwilling to be spoon feeders are usually the cute ones.

What is the reason that I'm saying this out of nowhere? I just don't believe that someone who spent 5 years of their life on a brown waterproof cargo pants wearing, fresh off the boat looking, undeserving of such a cute person, buckteeth rabbit has the right to tell me I'm immature. I may be a bitch, but I don't think speaking the truth makes me immature in any way. The fact that I'm even dating someone who lost their virginity to such a beast is already a blow to my ego, but the fact that he can probably come up with more reasons for why he likes her than he can for why he likes me eliminates any ounce of an ego that I thought I had.

Blogging makes me feel so much better. Air conditioning in this 90 something degrees weather makes me feel better. Going to his Myspace and seeing that he now has only a picture of me and him makes me feel better. Remembering that there's a Bulls vs. Celtics game right now makes me feel better. Thinking back on Derrick Rose's beautiful arms and laughing to myself about how Paul Pierce missed a potential game-winning free throw after sinking the first one makes me feel great. I think I've calmed down enough to call him now. Let's hope he has the right things to say this time.

Breaking Old Ties

I have a bad habit of wanting my cake and eating it too. Life and relationships just don't go that way. For the past year and a half, I've been dating around and seeing different guys, yet all the while hiding them from my ex, who I hadn't completely moved on from and was still seeing from time to time. But when my ex asked me today if I had a new guy, I didn't lie and give him my usual "No, there's only you." Instead I told him that I had in fact met someone new. Of course, he did what every ex who's been officially broken up with does: play the role of sweet, perfect person all of a sudden. He told me that he wanted to get back with me but was waiting until I hit 18, and that he was too busy with work to be in a relationship. He could have easily told me this before and I would have gladly waited (and continue dating random guys behind his back), but I guess it was too little, too late. He, like me, is selfish and expects too much but doesn't give enough. So after juggling a few insignificant guys for over a year, someone like Mike is just what I need. I need someone solid, someone who's not just another game for me to play, someone who can reciprocate my "like." They really need to come up with some kind of substitute for the word "love" so that love-phobics like me can use that word. They also need to come up with a word for someone who you're seeing but isn't exclusively going out with yet. Mike isn't my boyfriend, he's my... boyhomie? Okay no, that sounds so dumb, but you catch my drift. Three other guys who I used to talk to hit me up within the past two weeks, asking me if I wanted to come chill with them, which basically meant going on a date with them. I've never said no to hanging out with them before, but something made me say no this time around. Maybe I'm outgrowing my immaturity when it comes to relationships. Maybe I'm sprung. Maybe it's a combination of both. All I know is, I really need to pee right now so I'm gonna cut this overly-emotional blog short. Seems that I'm never sure of anything actually relevant to me.

And yay, Lakers beat the Jazz 113-100 in Game 1 today.

Amy's Birthday Weekend

One of my Myspace friends posted a bulletin about how everyone should have a blog since he's been blogging everyday for 7 years. He remembers all the first times he's ever smoked, drank, and had sex. I wanna remember my teenage years when I'm an old prune, so I decided to finally create a blog. Plus I read Amy's blogspot 24/7 and I always wanted to be one of her stalkers, so yeah. Here it is.

- Thursday
Went to the new Forever 21 at Anaheim Plaza after school with Amy and Mimi. I thought the ones at Mainplace Mall and Ontario Mills were big, but this one was HUGE. Every Asian girl's dream. We spent about two hours on the second level, going from color to color, and then finally became pooped. I bought the cutest dress ever, which made me super duper happy. When I got home, all I wanted to do was sleep, but I came through with my promise to make Amy a rice krispie. Mimi and I kind of went overboard with the idea and ended up making her a panda and rice krispie cake. Cutest things ever; I'm so proud, and thanks to Mimi for stopping the microwave before it blew up.
- Friday
International Assembly Day = Viva La Mexica @ Rancho Day. Amy and Sarah came over after school so that Mike could take us all to BJ's. Since Mike came to the dinner, he couldn't help out his friends during their usual basketball games at the gym. They texted him to tell him that they lost since he wasn't there. Sorry Mike's friends for stealing him away :(. When we got to BJ's, Liz was able to convince the girl to let us all sit in the patio area, which made my night from the start. The food was so good; we ordered too much though. The Angels blew an 8-2 lead, which made me sad for like 5 minutes, but then the Pazookie came out and that made everything better. After dinner, we went outside to take group pictures and I creeped Amy out by giving her a hug. Sarah had to leave in an hour, so we didn't go watch 17 Again with everyone else and went to Boba House instead to play Naked PhotoHunt. Of course, we were the only ones there besides a couple of fobs. I seriously fail to see how it's possible for a guy to have been stabbed and shot in the ass there. Anyways, I completed my mission: to kick off that annoying ass Sonny guy from the scoreboard. If you ever go to Boba House and play on the first computer, you'll see AMYCINDYMIMI dominate the scoreboard. We're just too amazing sometimes. After Mike dropped us off, Mimi and Sarah told me that they loved him and that he was the nicest guy ever. He must be doing something right if he can impress my friend of 9 years, my sister, and a critical non-Asian.

- Saturday
Lots of coffee + An intense matchup between my beloved Derrick Rose and the hated Celtics = Near heart attack in the morning. That game was crazy; the Bulls are seriously like the Lakers to me. I was so, so happy when they beat the Celtics and shut all those arrogant Bostonian dickheads with that annoying ass accent up. Afterwards, hung out with Mike again. Glad to hear that he loves my friends too; I don't think I could ever date a guy who doesn't get along with them now. Picked up Mimi from Amy's house around 6:30 and went to Westminster Mall since I was craving Panda Express. Since when did that rundown mall have fashion shows all of a sudden!? Panda Express, like the rest of the mall, closed at 7. Maybe if it didn't close so early and prevent moody Asian girls from satisfying their cravings, West Mall would be a bit more up and running now wouldn't it. Luckily I thought quickly and remembered that Jasmine Thai was nearby, so we went there and got the pad thai and spicy fried rice that I saw Steven get last time. Dang, spicy fried rice is really actually... spicy. Took pictures afterwards; Mike and I look so cute together, thanks mainly to me for making us look cute in the first place though. This weekend gave me the chance to see another side of him. On top of being a bit good looking and a bit of a good basketball player, he's actually pretty nice. I'm waiting to see what the catch is, cause how can someone be cute and nice at the same time? Those just don't go together. 5 bucks says he's killed someone before... or probably gets turned on by 2Guys1Horse... or wakes up at 8am on Saturdays to watch Lizzie McGuire... I don't know what it is, but I know there's gotta be something.
